I know that Nazeing residents, and those who regularly use the Nazeing New Road bridge to travel to Broxbourne, have faced frustrations whilst the bridge had been closed.
Since January, engineers have removed the old bridge, installed a new structure and begun to waterproof, paint and lay new materials for the road surface.
This work has progressed well and Network Rail are working towards reopening the route on 30th April, with a contingency deadline of 7th May should any bad weather delay the works.
