Celebrating the four day jubilee weekend, Harlow’s MP, Robert Halfon, joined in with a number of the wonderful jubilee celebrations across Harlow and the Villages. Thousands of residents celebrated at street parties, village fetes and food festivals, Mr Halfon said the “incredible turnout is testament to Her Majesty’s 70 year reign”.
He visited Plant Pots and Wellies Jubilee Celebrations at the Dashes, the Sheering Village celebration, the Redchurch Brewery festival and the St Paul’s Church Jubilee lunch amongst other events.
Commenting on the events, Mr Halfon said: “It was so special to see so many residents enjoying the Jubilee celebrations across Harlow and the villages. Thousands of residents celebrated Her Majesty’s remarkable 70 year reign in true patriotic spirit over the four day weekend and I was delighted to join in those celebrations.
“I pay tribute to everyone who hosted and volunteered at events over the weekend - their efforts will long be remembered.
“Long live Her Majesty. God save the Queen.”
